Katherine (Kay) Louise Head
Katherine Louise Head, age 82, of Lakeview passed away on Thursday, October 5, 2017 at home surrounded by her loving family.
Kay was born on April 28, 1935 to Roy E and Edna L (Lucas) Snyder in Lakeview, MI. Kay grew up in the Lakeview/Edmore/Benton Harbor areas and attended the local area schools. She married Charles F Head on June 28, 1952 in Coloma, MI. She loved doing crafts, crocheting, baking, taking photos, and cutting family members hair; but most of her loving passion was spending taking care of and spending time with her grandchildren and family.
Kay leaves to cherish her memory her husband Charles; children, Barbara (Paul) Morden and Charles (Ruth) Head; 4 grandchildren, Laura, Rick, Chuck and Ethan and 7 great grandchildren; siblings, Joyce (James) Head and Marguerite Fairbanks and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Katherine is preceded in death by her parents, son Darrell, Grandson David and Brothers Richard, Roy and Bill.
A service will be announced at a later date.
