Kathleen Mary Chamberlain

Kathy Chamberlain, 61, of Mt. Pleasant passed away Sunday, February 8, 2015, at McLaren Central Michigan. The family will receive friends on Saturday, Feb. 21, at Charles R. Lux Family Funeral Home from 4-7 p.m. A time for reflection will begin at 6:30 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Community Cancer Services (P.O. Box 36, Mt. Pleasant MI 48804-0036) or Cancer Care of Marquette County. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. Kathy was born Feb. 21, 1953, in Grand Rapids. Her parents were Nihmy "Nick" and Jean (McFarlane) Jabour. A graduate of Clare High School in 1971, she was employed as a senior beauty advisor at Walgreens. She enjoyed traveling, spending time at the beach, and just being in warm weather. She did, however, enjoy snow skiing. She was a very loving mother and grandmother who will be missed by many. Kathy is survived by her two sons, Aaron Chamberlain of Marquette and Jason Chamberlain of Harbor Springs, and their father, the Hon. Paul (Sue) Chamberlain of Mt. Pleasant; granddaughter, Isabelle Chamberlain; and two brothers, Joe (Denise) Jabour of Burlington, VT and John Jabour of Houston, TX. She was preceded in death by her parents.
