Kathleen Alice Mcintosh

Kathleen McIntosh, 94, of Mt. Pleasant passed away on Wednesday, November 3, 2021, at Woodland Hospice House in Mt. Pleasant.  Kathleen was born on May 20, 1927, in Lancaster, Ohio, daughter of the late Harold and Florence (Miller) Downhour.  Kathleen loved spending time with family and friends, playing golf and gardening in her younger years, and beating anyone at cards.  More than anything, she loved her family fiercely, with all her heart.  Kathleen filled her life and her family with laughter, joy, creativity, compassion, energy and love, and will be missed every day. Kathleen is survived by her children, James McIntosh of Kalamazoo, Nancy McIntosh of Mt. Pleasant, and Andy (Kim) McIntosh of Mt. Pleasant; 10 grandchildren; and 13 great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Edwin in 2005; brother and sister-in-law, Russell and Gloria Downhour; and great grandson, Nolan Andrew Webster.  Per Kathleen's wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be celebrated in the spring.
