Kay F. Bryant

Kay Bryant, 80, of Mt. Pleasant, passed away Monday, September 30, 2024, at McLaren Bay Medical Center in Bay City. Kay was born March 1, 1944, in Vestaburg, Michigan, daughter of the late Carl and Treva (Bowers) Keeler. Her marriage was blessed with three children: Carla, Rolla, and Michael. She graduated from Vestaburg High School in 1962. Kay was employed by Dr. Saxena in Alma and by Production Credit. Before retiring, she co-owned and operated a trucking company in Georgia. Some of Kay's favorite pastimes were watching TV, reading, sewing, attending auctions, and cheering for her grandchildren at their sporting events. Kay is survived by her children, Carla (Ford) Sinicropi of Higgins Lake, Rolla (Steve) Ley of Mt. Pleasant, and Michael (Malisa) Trayer Battle Creek; 11 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; and siblings, Gladys Tipton of Vestaburg, Jack (Joan) Keeler of Ocala, FL, and Pat Toolan of Hendersonville, NV. She was preceded in death by her parents; and siblings, Georgia "Jean" Anderson and Carl R. "Jim" Keeler. Kay has been cremated and the family is planning a private interment in Richland Township Cemetery in Vestaburg.
