Kay Lynn Tuttle

Kay Tuttle, 62, of Mt. Pleasant, passed away Sunday, August 30, 2020, at Woodland Hospice House in Mt. Pleasant. She was born November 27, 1957, in Mt. Pleasant, daughter of the late Orval and Mary (Brien) Rohen. She was employed by Maplewood Assisted Living for 12 years and, in her leisure time, enjoyed camping, baking, cooking and was proud of being a "Townie". On June 22, 2002 she married John Tuttle. Kay often hosted family get-togethers and she was very involved with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will be missed dearly. Kay is survived by her husband, John Tuttle; daughter, Lisa Flannery (Chris Becker) of Mt. Pleasant, son Mathew Flannery of Mt. Pleasant, stepchildren, Nicole Russell of Newaygo,  John Cody (Malerie) Tuttle of Newaygo, and  Sabrina Coil of Tennessee; granddaughter, Paige Sembach; two great grandchildren, Evan and Lucy; 11 stepgrandchildren; sister, Judy (Troy) Perkins of Mt. Pleasant; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; infant brother, Johnny Rohen; brother, Ed Rohen; and sister, Linda Potter. Kay's memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, September 3, at Charles R. Lux Family Funeral Home with Rick Tuttle officiating. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 4-7 p.m. and on Thursday one hour prior to the service. Memorial contributions may be made to Woodland Hospice or to Dalis to the Rescue in Gratiot County.
