Kenneth G. Kirk

Kenneth Kirk, 71, of Six Lakes, passed away Saturday, December 13, 2014, at his home. Cremation has taken place and no service is planned. Memorial contributions may be made to the wishes of the family. Envelopes are available at Charles R. Lux Family Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant. Kenneth was born Oct. 15, 1943, in Coleman, son of the late Earl and Marie (Werner) Kirk. On July 31, 1964 he married Nola Ingraham. Kenneth was in the U.S. Army and retired from Michcon. In his retirement, he enjoyed going golfing and fishing. Kenneth was a member of the American Legion in Stanton and a lifelong member of the Six Lakes VFW. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Nola; two children, Kelly (Brendan Talty) Kirk of Mt. Pleasant, and Gary Kirk of McBride; three grandchildren, Bercan Talty, Torin Talty, and Samantha Kirk. He was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Beverly Wood.
