Kenneth E. Miller

Kenneth Miller, 53, of Beal City, passed away Sunday, June 8, 2014, at his home. He was born June 19, 1960, in Mt. Pleasant, son of Bernard Gene and Mary (Jones) Miller. A 1978 graduate of Beal City High School, Ken was employed by Fisher Companies as a heavy equipment mechanic for 26 years. He enjoyed fishing and golfing. Ken is survived by three children, Samantha Miller of Freeland, Ryan Miller of Redford and Brittany Miller of Mt. Pleasant; their mother, Carolyn Miller of Beaverton; his parents, Gene and Mary Miller of Mt. Pleasant; five siblings, Karen (Paul) Gross of Beal City, Karla (Doug) Stewart of Petoskey, Kal Miller of Jackson, Bernie (Darlene) Miller of Beal City, and Dan (Julie) Miller of Beal City; sister-in-law, Michele Miller of Midland; his grandmother, Virgie Jones of Mt. Pleasant; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother, Matt Miller in 2009. Cremation has taken place and the family will receive friends at Lux Funeral Home of Mt. Pleasant on Thursday from 4-7 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph the Worker School. Envelopes are available at the funeral home.
