Kenneth Dean Onstott, age 76, of Mt. Pleasant passed away on Friday, February 9, 2018 at Woodland Hospice House surrounded by his loving family.

Ken was born on January 11, 1942 to Donald and Helen (Baronik) Onstott in Mt. Pleasant. He was raised in the Mt. Pleasant area and attended Mt. Pleasant Schools graduating in 1960. Ken served his country proudly in the United States Air Force from 1961 to 1965. Ken married Marilyn Kay Simon in 1967 in Winn. Ken enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and going to the casino. He loved spending time outdoors; but he especially loved being with his family. He worked as a primary caregiver at the Mt. Pleasant Center for over 25 years, retiring in 1992.

Kenneth is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Marilyn Kay; children, Angela (Mike Champlin) Beemer, Randy Onstott, and Andrew (Brandy) Onstott; grandchildren, Ashleigh, Jordan and Joshua; siblings, Norman, Ron, Sandra, Phil, Greg, Dennis, Cindi, Terry, Kathy, Patsy, Sharon and Richard and numerous nieces and nephews.

Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents; son, Mathew; brothers, Stanley, Walter and Tom.

Honoring Ken's wishes cremation has taken place and a private graveside service will take place in the spring.
