Kevin Edmund Reynolds

Kevin Reynolds, 49, of Mt. Pleasant, passed away Thursday, Nov. 12, 2015, at his home. He was born August 11, 1966, in Waterbury, Connecticut. Son of John Reynolds and Doris (Melinowski) VanBuskirk. Kevin graduated in 1985 from Chippewa Hills in Remus, he then joined U.S. Marine Corps., where he proudly served from 1985-1990. He was a big fan of the University of Michigan football and Detroit Red Wings. Kevin was known for being very giving and having a heart of gold. He is remembered and loved by his mother and step-father, Doris and Larry VanBuskirk; of Weidman: sister, Sheila Buccilli of Clare; brother, James Reynolds of Mt. Pleasant; step-brother, Larry and (Julie) VanBuskirk Jr. of Coldwater; step-sister, Catherine (Norm Thompson) VanBuskirk of Bronson, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandparents; Ralph and Margaret Melinowski, Percy and Elsie VanBuskirk; Father, John E. Reynolds; brother, Keith J. Reynolds; sister, Jennifer M. VanBuskirk and her newborn Ethan Z. Andy, step-sister, Angela K. VanBuskirk Ryder; and brother-in-law, Michael J. Buccilli. A celebration of Kevins life will take place at a later date. Cremation has taken place. His ashes will be interred in Gilmore Township Cemetery. Those planning an expression of sympathy may make a memorial contribution to the wishes of the family.
