Larry Allen Stratton Sr., age 70, of Remus passed away on Tuesday, September 25, 2018 with his family at his side at Spectrum Health Big Rapids Hospital.
Larry was born on September 13, 1948 to Lyle N and Edith M (Bentley) Stratton in Lansing, MI. He was raised in the Grand Rapids area and attended the area schools. Larry worked for Irwin Seating in Grand Rapids as a press operator and retired after 20 plus years of service. On November 24, 2004 Larry married Joyce Wonch in Belmont, MI. He enjoyed watching the Lions and Tigers games on TV, playing golf, bowling, and playing games on the computer.His most passionate joy in life was spending time with his wife, children, grandchildren and family.
Larry is survived by his wife, Joyce; children, April Stratton, Larry Stratton Jr, Tina Lopez, Rachel (Robert) Lopez-Fedewa, and Michael (Maribel) Lopez; grandchildren, Brittney (Wilfred) Timothy, Lyle Greenawalt, Haylee Greenawalt, Jeffrey John Bajena, Jason Michael Bajena, Katie Bajena, Jaylyn Francis Lopez, and Jordyn Estela Lopez; and 6great grandkid; his previous spouse, JoAnn Sekots; siblings, Chuck (Karol) Stratton, Jeanne (Bill) Meeks, and Kathy Rounds; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents and great grandson, Noah Timothy.
Per Larry's request, cremation has taken place and a private celebration of life will place at a later date.
