Laura May Bolitho (Gregory)

Laura Bolitho, 82, of Weidman, passed away Thursday, February 23, 2023, at McLaren Central Michigan in Mt. Pleasant. Laura was born January 16, 1941, in Detroit, Michigan. She married Russell Bolitho on February 29, 1964 and she resided in Roseville, raising her family. After they were old enough, she worked as a pre-school teacher in Roseville until retiring and moving to Mt. Pleasant in 1991. She enjoyed visiting the casino and playing Bingo, but more than anything enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Laura is survived by her husband, Russell; daughter, Kathleen Kushner of Weidman; and grandchildren, Timothy "T.J." (Dr. Laura Susick) Swoveland of Southgate and Michelle (Jenna Belevender) Gerard of Hamtramck. She was preceded in death by her parents; children, Roderick MacLeod, John MacLeod, and Michael Bolitho.  A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 15, 2023, at 11 am, at the Charles R.
