Linda Boge, 64, of Weidman passed away Wednesday, Nov. 12, 2014, at McLaren Central Michigan. A Funeral Mass for Linda will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 15, at St. Joseph the Worker Church in Beal City with Father Ricky Varner presiding. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. The family will receive friends in the gathering room of the church on Friday from 4-8 p.m. with the Vigil beginning at 7:30 p.m. Visitation continues on Saturday one hour prior to Mass. Memorial contributions may be made to National Breast Cancer Foundation or to St. Joseph the Worker Church. Envelopes will be available at the church or at Charles R. Lux Family Funeral Home. Linda was born Dec. 3, 1949, in Mt. Pleasant, daughter of Victor Joseph and Donna Eileen (Recker) Boge. She graduated from Beal City High School in 1968 and was employed by Pickard Street Citgo for 15 years. She had also worked for Giantway.A generous person and never one to complain, Linda enjoyed working outdoors and absolutely loved her faithful companion dogs, Stinker and Kalle. Linda is survived by her parents, Victor and Donna Boge of Mt. Pleasant; five siblings, Mary Boge of Mt. Pleasant, Robert Boge of Ithaca, twins, Sandra Boge of Beal City and Vickie Boge of Mt. Pleasant, and Brian (Sandy) Boge of Beal City; and sister-in-law, Janet Boge of Mt. Pleasant. Also missing her will be her nieces and nephews, Melissa, Carrie, Mandy, Kattie, Josh, Kristopher, and Nicholas; and step-nieces and nephew, Mia, Michaela, Kayleigh, and Connor. The family gives a special thank you to Lindas close friend, Barb Houghton. She was preceded in death by a brother, Ronald Joseph Boge in 1981; and infant sister, Terrie Eileen Boge in 1956.
