Margaret Burman, 91, of Beal City, passed away Monday, July 25, 2011, at Gratiot Medical Center in Alma. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, July 28, at St. Joseph the Worker Church in Beal City with Father Patrick Jankowiak presiding. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the gathering room of the church on Wednesday from 5-8 p.m. with the Vigil beginning at 7:30 p.m. Visitation continues on Thursday one hour prior to Mass. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph the Worker Church. Envelopes will be available at the church or at Charles R. Lux Family Funeral Home. Margaret was born Aug. 30, 1919 in Ionia, the daughter of the late Joseph and Blanche (Cobb) Vincent. She married Earl Burman on Jan. 23, 1946, at St. Philomena Church in Beal City. Margaret is survived by three children, Suzanne Lino of Brunswick, OH, Charles Burman of Weidman, Peg Burman and her husband Tom Lootens of Maple City; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Bernice Vincent of Farwell; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl in 1986; two brothers, Joseph and Eugene Vincent; and four sisters, Lillian Johnson, Marion Schumacher, Thelma Schumacher and Marge Jackson.
