Marian L Beutler

Marian L. Beutler, age 85, of Weidman went to be with her Lord on January 25, 2019 at McLaren Bay Regional, with her loving family by her side.

Marian was born on May 5, 1933 in Saginaw to Stanley H and Minnie R (Kennicott) Sanderson. She was raised in the St. Charles area and graduated from the high school in St. Charles in 1951. Then she attended Albion College and Central Michigan University for two years. Marian then worked at Dow Chemical as a secretary for a few years. On May 26, 1962 Marian married Howard Beutler in St. Charles at the Methodist Church. He preceded her in death on November 3, 2016 after 54 years of marriage.

Marian was a very active member of the Weidman United Methodist Church, Weidman Methodist Church Women's Group, Bible Study Group and the Order of Eastern Star. She was kept very busy with the bake sales at church, spending time with friends, talking about the weather, gardening, playing cards and Marian was always on the move. The one thing Marian will always be remembered for is if she knew your birthday or that you were sick, you could always count on a card. She was a very gracious lady and tried to be a friend to everyone.

Memories of Marian will be cherished by her family including her children, Laurel Beutler and Donald (Christine) Beutler; grandchildren, James Anderson and Andrew and Jayden Beutler; siblings, Edith (Charles) Reid, Alice McKellar and Jane (Dale) Schuring and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Marian was preceded in death by her husband, Howard and her parents.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, May 11, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. at the Weidman United Methodist Church with Pastor Scott B. Smith and Mark Johnston (Marian's Nephew) officiating. The family will meet with friends 1 hour prior to the service.

Following the service there will be a luncheon at the church followed by a graveside service at Forrest Hill Cemetery.
