Marian Joan Pasche

Marian Joan Pasche, age 90, of Mt. Pleasant, passed away on Sunday, September 20, 2026, at Applewood Assisted Living. Born on June 13, 1936, she is the daughter of the late Jasper Sylvester and Mary Carol (Smith) Warner.

She graduated from Charlevoix High School in 1954 and married the love of her life, William Pasche, on October 22, 1955, at St. Mary of the Assumption in Charlevoix.

She was a loving mother who raised six sons, devoting herself to her family and her beloved grandchildren. She enjoyed her home in Mt. Pleasant. She also had a cottage on Lake Michigan where she loved spending time in her hometown. She was an artist who created many paintings of outdoor scenes. Marian was a sports enthusiast, often attending sporting events and activities with her children and grandchildren.

Marian is survived by her sons, Michael (Deborah) of Mt. Pleasant, Daniel (Celina) of Boiling Springs, PA, Mark (Linda) of Clemmons, NC, Thomas (Janet) of Mt. Pleasant, and Brian (Jenny) of Midland; her siblings, James (Gail) Warner of Lansing and Judy Arnold of Traverse City; sister in-law, Lorraine Warner of Petoskey; her beloved grandchildren, Sarah, Lauren (Kyle) Baker, Steven, Shonica, William, Joseph, Jamie (Matthew) Sawade, Kristin (Jack) Frontczak, Joshua, Madison, Maxwell, Hannah, and Hailey; and her wonderful great-grandchildren, Logan, Alyvia and Brynn McIvor, Justin and Kylie Sawade, Nora and Ruby Leto, Ben and Josie Baker, Eddie and Marian Pasche, Paige and Allison Frontczak, Cora Pasche, and Jackson Nivison.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jasper and Mary Warner; husband, William Pasche on September 6, 2026; son, James Pasche; brother, Larry Warner; and brother in-law, Don Arnold.

Cremation has taken place and she will be laid to rest in Barnard Cemetery with her husband in Charlevoix on a future date.
