Marietta Demarrow

Marietta DeMarrow, 83, of Mt. Pleasant, died on March 28, 2021, at the Isabella County Medical Care Facility. She was born on September 23, 1937, in Holland, Michigan, to Marvin and Henrietta (Van Hesteren) Vander Ploeg. She married Ronald Joseph DeMarrow on February 4, 1960, and together they had three children: Aaron (Jodi) DeMarrow of Mt. Pleasant, Christine (John) Wurm of Roscommon, and James (Diane Smith) DeMarrow of Garden City. Ronald predeceased her in November of 1989 after 29 years of marriage. Marietta is survived by her children, seven grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren, as well as her sisters Glenna Doody and Dawn (Tom) Graham, and brother Jack (Cheri) Vander Ploeg. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, brother and sister-in-law Jerry and Jackie Vander Ploeg, and brother-in-law Joseph Doody. A private commital service will be held at Wahjamega Cemetery in Caro. No public services are planned at this time.
