Marilynn J. Chaffee

Marilynn J. Chaffee, age 77, of Lake went to be with the Lord on Friday, September 15, 2017.

Marilynn was born on August 3, 1940 to Clarence and Hazel (Harring) Warn in Lansing, MI. She was raised in the Lansing area and attended Lansing Eastern High School graduating with the class of 1958. On August 10, 1962 she married Edwin Chaffee in Lansing. Marilynn worked for the Michigan Secretary of State in Lansing for 30 years retiring in 1991. Her favorite pastime was working with watercolor painting, photography, her flower gardens and fishing.

Marilynn leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Edwin; daughter, Michelle Parrish (Jim Wilgus); grandchildren, Jessica and Rob Prawatsrichai and Ryan Parrish ; and siblings, Fred Warn and Marie Grider.

Marilynn was preceded in death by her parents and stepchildren, Craig and Rodney.

A Memorial Service is scheduled for Sunday, October 1, 2017. The family will greet friends from 2 to 5 p.m. at Independence Village, 4775 Village Drive, Grand Ledge, MI 48837.
