Marion L. Mccormick

Marion L. McCormick, 82, of Mt. Pleasant died Saturday, January 18, 2003 at the Isabella County Medical Care Facility. Her funeral mass will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 21, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Robert Byrne officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call at Lux Funeral Home on Monday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. and at the church on Tuesday from 10:30-11:00 a.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Sacred Heart Academy Foundation or to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. Envelopes are available at Lux Funeral Home. Marion was born May 10, 1920, in Mt. Pleasant, the daughter of John W. and Helen C. (Cressor) Johnson. She married Bernard McCormick on May 15, 1943, at Sacred Heart. She was a very avid knitter. She was a member of the Multiple Sclerosis Society, Sacred Heart Church and its altar society. Marion is survived by her son Barney (Jackie) McCormick of Weidman; three grandchildren, Jamie (Tom) Noble of Weidman, Kay (Ed) Dasilva of Las Vegas and Jeff (Lisa) McCormick of Alabama; eight great grandchildren; and one brother, L. Mark (Pat) Johnson of Uma, AZ. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bernard in 1974; son Daniel P. in 1981; and an infant daughter and infant son.
