Marion Arlene Wyant

Marion Wyant, 92, passed away Saturday, June 22, 2013 at New Hope Assisted Living in Mt Pleasant. She was born on September 21, 1920 in Alma, daughter of the late Edward and Lucy (Rider) Murphy. Marion lived in the Mt. Pleasant area all of her life, and retired from CMCH as the head of the Dietary Department. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Chester Wyant; five children, Robert Medlar of Greenville, Jeannie Main of Blanchard, Shirley Wyant of Westfield, IN, Betty Jo Westbrook of Houghton Lake, and Chester Wyant of Clovis, NM; 12 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren. Marion was preceded in death by her first husband, Thale Medlar; five brothers; and one grandchild. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 25, at Lux Family Life Story Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant with Joe Wentworth officiating. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until the service begins at 2 p.m. Burial will be in Union Cemetery. Following the graveside service a small lunch will be held at Lux Family Life Story Funeral Home.
