Marjorie Ann Gordon

Marjorie Gordon, 92, of Lansing, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, August 22, 2022. Marjorie was born on December 14, 1929, in Rosebush, daughter of the late Fred and Cora (Neyome) Jackson.  She worked for MSU for 20 years in the food and nutrition department. Marjorie was a member of the Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribe in Isabella County.  She enjoyed cooking, beading, and making blankets.  She will be greatly missed by many.  Marjorie is survived by her son David Miller of Lansing; ten grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; sister in law, Terri Moore, and many nieces and nephews.  She is preceded in death by both parents; sons, Robert Penrose, Ronald Moore and Steven Moore; daughter in law, Laura Miller; brothers, Ronald Jackson, Leo Jackson, Terry Maki, Jerry Henderson and John Henderson.  Her funeral will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday, August 26, 2022, at Charles R. Lux Family Funeral Home with Saginaw Chippewa Elder, Joseph Sowmick officiating. Immediately following will be a luncheon in the Lincoln Reception Center (attached to the funeral home). Interment will be in Woodland Cemetery.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service for visitation.
