Mary J. Blubaugh

Mary Blubaugh, 85, of Mt. Pleasant passed away Tuesday, Sept. 22, 2015, at McLaren Central Michigan. Family and friends are invited to a gather at Charles R. Lux Family Funeral Home on Sunday, Sept. 27, from 12-3 p.m. where food and refreshments will be served. Memorial contributions may be made to Woodland Hospice. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. Mary was born May 21, 1930, in Mt. Pleasant, daughter of the late Samuel and Rose (Caterino) Cascarelli. A graduate of Mt. Pleasant High School, she married Robert Blubaugh Nov. 30, 1958 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She was employed by JC Penny for over 20 years as a retail clerk. Some of Marys favorite pastimes were traveling, playing cards, attending MSU football games, and bowling. She was inducted into the Mt. Pleasant Bowlers Hall of Fame in 2008. Mary is survived by Susan Blubaugh of Shepherd and Karen (Robert) Rochon of White Lake; three grandsons, Nicholas, Andrew and Ryan Rochon; three siblings, Andy Cascarelli of Mt. Pleasant, Angeline Fredrick of Franklin, TN and Joseph Cascarelli of Mt. Pleasant; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; and husband Robert in 2004.
