Mary Lou Coffell

Mary Lou Coffell, 76, of Mt. Pleasant, Michigan, passed away on July 31, 2018 at the Isabella County Medical Care Facility in Mt. Pleasant. Mary Lou was born on October 25, 1941 in Winn, Michigan, the daughter of George William and Ellen Isabella (Riggle) Casner. On February 20, 1981, she married Carl L. Coffell in Mt. Pleasant. Carl passed away on May 12, 1996. Mary Lou was a homemaker who enjoyed crocheting, quilts, making Christmas ornaments and gardening. Survivors include children, Dan and Candie Coffell of Shepherd, step-sons, Kevin and Barbara Coffell and Andrew and Linda Coffell, both of Weidman, eleven grandchildren and several great grandchildren. Mary Lou was preceded in death by both parents, a daughter Mary Ellen Pestoskey and a sister Ruth Ann Gimmey and a brother-in-law Russell Gimmey. No services are planned. Interment of the cremated remains will take place in Memorial Gardens at a later date.
