Mary B. Gerren

Mary B. Gerren, 73, of Farwell died Saturday, April 27, 2002 at Central Michigan Community Hospital. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Wed. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Robert Byrne officiating. Visitation is at the church from 9:30 a.m. until service time. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery in Beal City and a funeral luncheon will follow at The Summit Clubhouse, 120 S. Pine, Mt. Pleasant. Memorial contributions may be made to the family. Envelopes will be available at the church or at Lux Funeral Home. Mary was born June 4, 1928, in Beal City, the daughter of Alex and Lillian Mae (Geiger) Bierschbach. She married Kenneth Gerren April 14, 1950 at St. Cecelias Church in Clare. She worked for the Trust Department at Isabella Bank and Trust. She was a member of The Summit. Mary is survived by her two sons, Jim Kemp of Chicago, Ill. and Mike (Kim) Kemp of Gladwin; two grandsons, Ryan and Aaron; her brother, Jim (Mary) Bierschbach of Beal City; special cousin, Bonny (Bob) Lyon of Mt. Pleasant; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Mary was a loving mother, grandmother and friend to many. She was loved and will be greatly missed.
