Mary Lou Gruss

Mary Lou Gruss, age 32, of Blanchard, passed away on March 27, 2015 in Mt. Pleasant. Mary Lou was born on November 11, 1982 in Kalamazoo, Michigan the daughter of Timothy J. Gruss and Janet E. (Edson) Gruss. Mary Lou worked at Peebles Department store in Three Rivers before moving to Mt. Pleasant and working as an adult foster care worker for Listening Ear. Mary Lou is survived by her significant other, Robert Stephens of Mt. Pleasant; two children, Chevy R. Rozner of Three Rivers, MI and Corrynne A. Stephens of Mt. Pleasant; her parents, Timothy and Amy Gruss of Blanchard and Janet Gruss of Leesville, LA; her grandmother, Hilda Gruss of Mt. Pleasant; grandparents, Gilmore and Sandy Edson of Alabama; a brother, Benjamin Gruss of Mt. Pleasant; a nephew, Skylar Black; a sister, Sarah (Mike) Bingaman; and two nieces, Alainna and Dianna Bingaman; and loved by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Frank and Rita Gruss and Marylou Edson. Private family services for Mary Lou were held at Shepherd United Methodist Church.
