Mary Anne Heisler

Mary Heisler, 61, of Riverdale, passed away Monday, Nov. 30, 2015, at her home. Her memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 4, at Charles R. Lux Family Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. A luncheon will follow at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Heartland Hospice. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. Mary was born Nov. 25, 1954, in Clare, daughter of the late Wayne and Iva (Richter) Cushman. She graduated from Chippewa Hills High School in 1972 and spent nearly 33 years working for the Mt. Pleasant Regional Center. On Sept. 7, 1990, she married Gary Heisler in Mt. Pleasant.Some of Marys favorite pastimes were gardening and animals, especially horses and dogs. Mary is survived by her husband, Gary; three children, Stacy White of Riverdale, Kristin (Mark) Kubitza of Riesel, TX, and Kylee (Jim) Johnson of Mt. Pleasant; four grandchildren, Chase, Ian, Nick and Elizabeth; three siblings, Dave (Lisa) Cushman of Alaska, Janet (Jack) Mills of Lansing and Brian (Vicki) Cushman of Evart; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; and two grandchildren, Chloe and Graeme Johnson.
