Mary Frances Moreau

Mary F. Moreau, 49, of Mt. Pleasant, passed away unexpectedly Friday, April 4, 2014 at McLaren Central Michigan. A Memorial Service will be held at St. Joseph the Worker Church in Beal City on Monday, April 14, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. with Father Fred Kawka presiding. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Memorial contributions may be made to Holy Cross Children's Services or St. Joseph the Worker School. Envelopes will be available at the church. Mary was born January 18, 1965 in Midland, MI, daughter of Richard and the late Joyce (Newhouse) Moreau. Mary graduated from Alpena Community College and Central Michigan University. She worked as a radio and newspaper reporter and bank clerk. Mary enjoyed volunteer activities with Commission on Aging, hand-crafting and corresponding with family and friends. She was also quite the church organist. Mary is survived by her father, Richard (Diana) Moreau; brother, Stephen Moreau; uncle, Gerald (Kathy) Newhouse, and aunt, Marilyn (Fred) Hubert. She was preceded in death by her mother, and brother, Rick.
