Mary Margaret Powell

Mary Margaret Powell, 84, of Mt. Pleasant passed away Saturday, May 4, at the Manor House in Mt. Pleasant. Her funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 7, at Lux Funeral Home with Deacon Larry Fussman of Sacred Heart Church officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation is Tuesday from 9 a.m. until service time. Memorial contributions may be made to the Sacred Heart Academy Foundation or to Hospice of Central Michigan. Envelopes are available at Lux Funeral Home. Mary was born January 1, 1918, in Mt. Pleasant the daughter of Ralph and Gertrude (Trainor) Powell. She will be sadly missed by her friends and caregivers at the Manor House, who gave her loving care and companionship. Mary is survived by two sisters, Margaret Jackson and Betty (Charles) Johnson; two brothers, Gerald (June) Powell and James Powell; and a sister-in-law, Jean Powell, all of Mt. Pleasant. She was preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers, Thomas Powell and Max Gaudard.
