Mary Louise Rauch

Mary Louise Rauch, 85, of Mt. Pleasant passed away Saturday, March 5, 2016, at Schnepp Health Care Center in St. Louis. Her memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 10, at Charles R. Lux Family Funeral Home with Chris McNeilly of Great Lakes Caring Hospice officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. A luncheon will follow at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Great Lakes Caring Hospice. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. Mary Louise was born May 14, 1930, in Detroit, daughter of the late Frank K. and Modena M. (Salsgiver) Reinart. She was the third child of six in her family, born alongside her older step-brothers, Robert Rule and Roy Rule, and younger siblings, Richard Reinart, George Reinart and Barbara Reinart (later becoming Barbara Ginrich). She married Robert R. Rauch on Dec. 10, 1956 in Detroit. Some of her favorite pastimes were painting with water colors and music, especially playing the violin and piano. Mary Louise is survived by her husband of 59 years, Robert; three children, Ronald (Lisa) Rauch of Coleman, Sandra (William) Brown of Grand Rapids, and David Rauch of Mt. Pleasant; seven grandchildren, Steven (Peggy) Rauch, Emily Rauch, Brian Rauch, Jonathan (Karri) Rauch, Jeff Mavis, Alisha (Roger) Brown-Gayden and Brad (Heather) Rauch; and 14 great-grandchildren.
