Mary M. Riley

Mary Riley, 97, of Mt. Pleasant passed away Monday, April 9, 2018, at the Isabella County Medical Care Facility. A Funeral Mass for Mary will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday, April 12, at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church in Beal City with Father Thomas Held as celebrant. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church on Thursday one hour prior to Mass. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph the Worker School or Isabella County Medical Care Facility. Envelopes will be available at the church or at Charles R. Lux Family Funeral Home. Mary was born November 21, 1920, in Isabella County, Michigan, daughter of the late Hugh K. and Beulah B. (Schofield) Riley. She was a member of St. Joseph the Worker Parish and was employed as a physicians assistant. Mary is survived by her brother, Hugh G. (Joy) Riley of Remus; sisters-in-law, Leona Riley of Weidman and Jo Ann Riley of Blanchard; and many extended family members, nieces, and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Hugh and Beulah Riley; and siblings, Herb Riley, Howard Riley, Bill Riley, Pat Riley, Glen Riley, Bernard Riley, Don Riley, and Genevieve Benezette.
