Mary Lou Sheahan

Mary Lou Sheahan, 63, of Mt. Pleasant died Sunday, July 27, 2003 at home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 29, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial will be at St. Henry Cemetery in Rosebush. Friends may call at Lux Funeral Home on Monday from 2-9 p.m.with a vigil service beginning at 8.00 p.m.. Envelopes are available at Lux Funeral Home. Mary Lou was born May 27, 1940, in Mt. Pleasant, the daughter of Albert and Cecilia (Wawersik) Simmer. She married Raymond Sheahan on August 27, 1971 at St. Joseph the Worker in Beal City. Her days were filled with crocheting, playing cards, being around friends and traveling. Mary Lou is survived by her two brothers, Robert (Helen) Simmer of Weidman; Bernard (Linda) Simmer of Lansing; five sisters, Luella (Frank) Frick of Mt. Pleasant, Alice (Arthur) Paisley of Clare; Esther (Arthur) Straus of DeWitt; Gladys (Roy) Parker of Remus; Pat (Raymond) Reihl of Mt. Pleasant; Special Friends: Steve Griffith of Mt. Pleasant; Rita Vogel and family of Weidman; and many nieces and nephews and many great-nieces and great-nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1996; her parents and one infant sister, Eileen Simmer.
