Mary E. (Yarrington) Ware

Mary Ware, 68, of Mt. Pleasant, passed away Friday, Aug. 5, 2011, at Tendercare in Mt. Pleasant where she resided the last 10 years. Her funeral will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 9, at Charles R. Lux Family Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant with Rev. Wayne Shidler officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Cremation will follow the service and her ashes will be interred in Lake City Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. Mary was born Oct. 11, 1942, in Big Rapids, daughter of the late Lawrence and Edith (Rorick) Yarrington. She married Gerald Ware on Sept. 10, 1983, in Mt. Pleasant. She is survived by her husband Gerald of Mt. Pleasant; son, Tim Yarrington of Shepherd; Joseph Yarrington of Newaygo; four sisters, Ardella Shippell of Big Rapids, Lucille (Richard) Hole of Newaygo, Leona Smith of Rockford and Marlene Ruth (David) Goodman of Albion; three sisters-in-law, Linda Kerby of Mt. Pleasant, Yvonne (Bruce) Miller of Weidman and Doris Yarrington of Grand Rapids; brother-in-law, Thomas Beagle of Alpena; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by three brothers, William, Donald and Albert Yarrington.
