Mattie Jean Wilson, age 85, passed away on February 4, 2026, at McLaren Central Michigan. She was born on October 10, 1940, in Star Mills, in Hardin County, Kentucky, to Lloyd and Ida Belle (Lipsey) Harned. Her marriage to Roger Aultman was blessed with three children, Rick, Sandra, and Deborah, and her second marriage to Roland Wilson was blessed with a son, Ronnie.

Mattie was a devoted daughter, mother, grandmother, and caregiver whose life was marked by kindness, dedication, and love for her family. She spent more than 15 years working as a Certified Nursing Assistant at Masonic Pathways in Alma, where she was known for her compassionate care, gentle nature, and commitment to the residents she served.

Mattie found great joy in watching the soap opera, Days Of Our Lives. Family was the center of Mattie's life. She cherished time spent with her loved ones and found her greatest joy in being together, whether through everyday moments or special gatherings. Her presence was a source of comfort and steadiness to those around her.

She is survived by her children, Rick (Michelle) Aultman of Midland, Sandra (Alan) Kullman of Mt. Pleasant, Deborah Crutchfield of Louisville, KY, and Ronnie (Christina) Wilson of Clover, SC; her beloved grandchildren, Riley (Bridget) Aultman, Chelsea (Tieler) Manville, and Nicole (Jeff) Patton, Justin (fiancée Amber Demers) Kullman and Kristin (fiancé Brandon Phronebarger) Kullman, Matthew (Kelsey) Vaughn, Stacie Vaughn, Marissa Crutchfield, and Ryan (fiancé Brayden Cundiff) Crutchfield, and Seth Wilson and Cheyenne Wilson; great grandchildren, Wesley, Crue, Julian, Ridley, Mia, Carson, and Amora; sister-in-law, Barbara Harned of Louisville, KY; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; granddaughter, Kayla Jean Aultman; and brothers, James (Donna) Harned and Virgil Harned.

Mattie will be remembered for her caring heart, strong work ethic, and unwavering devotion to her family. Her legacy of compassion and service will continue through the many lives she touched.

A  service honoring Mattie's life will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, February 7, at Lux Funeral Home of Mt. Pleasant with Aaron Mora (of Mt. Pleasant Community Church) officiating. A luncheon will follow. Burial will be in Warren Township Cemetery in Coleman. The family will receive friends on Friday from 5-7 p.m. and on Saturday one hour prior to the service.

Memorial contributions may be made to Mt. Pleasant Community Church.
