Melvin Fredrick Hanover

Melvin F. Hanover, 62, of Mt. Pleasant and formerly of Bay City, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, Aug. 25, 2010. A Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 4 at Oak Ridge Cemetery in Bay City. Cremation has taken place. Those planning an expression of sympathy may make memorials to the family. Mel is survived by his beloved wife Judy of 22 years; two step-children, Randy (Marybeth) St. Clair, Trisha (Bill) Roth; three grandchildren; Logan William, Hiley Rae-Lynn, Kyle Robert; special sister, Carol (Jerome) Schmolitz; two nieces, Debra (Dennis) Chambers, and Shellie (Brad) Turmell; one nephew, Gregory (Peggy) Rowell; two great-nieces, Kayla Chambers and Andrea Turmell; three great- nephews, Aaron Chambers, Garrett and Evan Rowell; and his K-9 friends, Pixie, Tag-Along and Jersey Girl.
