Michael Robert Mills

Michael Mills, 64, passed away on Saturday, April 9, 2022, at McLaren of Central Michigan, one day short of his 65 ^th birthday.  Michael was born on April 10, 1957, in Saginaw, Mi., son of the late Robert and Mary Lou Beaudin Mills.  Mike was devoted to his family and had a special relationship with his brother, Martin.  He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and cooking.  Mike is survived by his children; Nick and Quincy Mills; love of his life; Lori Cassell; mother-in-law, Carol Husted of Shepherd; stepchildren, Chelsea (Dylan) Broome of Detroit and Lasaun Cassell of Mt. Pleasant; siblings; Jeanie (Martin) Beatty of Lake Isabella, Ruth Ann (Michael) Zalewski of Grand Rapids, Martin Mills of Mt. Pleasant, and Marie (Jim) Elliott of Mt. Pleasant; sister-in-law, Teri Young of Mt. Pleasant; numerous nieces and nephews; and his faithful dog Doobie. Mike was preceded in death by both parents, and sister, Deborah Willits (2012).  Michael's funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. Monday, April 18, at Charles R. Lux Family Funeral Home with Deacon Jim Damitio officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.  Following the funeral, all are invited to a luncheon in Lincoln Reception Center (attached to the funeral home).  Michael will be interred at the St. Henry cemetery in Rosebush. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family.   Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
