Mildred Aldrich, 92, of Mt. Pleasant and formerly of Lansing passed away Thursday, July 17, at the Isabella County Medical Care Facility. Mildred resided at Rosebush Manor where she made many wonderful friends. The family is grateful for the wonderful care that was given to her by the staff of Rosebush Manor. Cremation has taken place and a funeral Mass for Mildred will be held at 12 p.m. Wednesday, July 23, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church (302 S. Kinney, Mt. Pleasant) with Father Thomas Held presiding. The family will receive friends at the church from 10 a.m. until the Mass begins. Interment of her ashes will be in St. Joseph Cemetery in Lansing at a later date. Mildred was born July 31, 1921, in Beal City, daughter of the late Urban J. and Mary (Simmer) Sebenick. She graduated from Resurrection High School in Lansing. After raising her children she worked 13 years for the State of Michigan in the Department of Health and Human Services. She was a member of Sacred Heart Parish in Mt. Pleasant and former member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish in Lansing. She is survived by five children, Jerry (Kathy) Aldrich of Bath, Jim (Linda) Aldrich of Lansing, Jeff (Vickie) Aldrich of Charlotte, Maryann (Randy) Gallagher of Mt. Pleasant, and Rick (Lanya) Aldrich of Potterville; 10 grandchildren, Kevin, Jennifer (Yamil), Darcie, Tom, Tim (Lyndsey), Lesli, Amy, Bethany (Robert), Breana, and Crystal; six great-grandchildren, Mason, Khalil, Kaden, Grace, Avery and Jayden; one great-great-granddaughter, Alivia; sister, Barbara Kribs of Lansing; and brother, Robert (Barb) Sebenick of South Carolina. She was preceded in death by three sisters, Viola Baird, Dorothy Tooley, and Agnes McManus; and one brother, William Sebenick. Memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimers Association or the Mt.
