Mina Garrett, 92, of Beal City, passed away Saturday, March 6, 2021, at home with her family by her side, two days after her loving husband, Charles.  Mina was born August 12, 1928, in Clare County, daughter of the late Andrew (Loretta Ruth) Keysor.   Mina married the love of her life, Charles Garrett, on September 14, 1946, in Harrison MI.  Together they raised their nine children on their family farm in Beal City.  She enjoyed reading, needlework, sewing, quilting, crochet, and making crafts.  She taught sewing, helping children with their 4H projects.  Mina enjoyed making wedding cakes and birthday cakes.  She loved puzzles and playing the piano.  One of her favorite activities was square dancing at jamborees.  Mina is survived by her children, Annita Wilson of Winchester, VA., Sheila (Ted) DeRose Jacques of Livingston, TN., Emilie Johnson of LaFayette, TN., Charlie II (Lynne) Garrett of Mt. Pleasant, Joseph (Lois) Garrett of Leslie, John of Omaha, NE., Ben (Mary) Garrett of Portland, TN., and Delbert (Malissa) of LaMarque, TX.; son in law, Terry Leiter of  Petersburg, VA.; 25 grandchildren; 45 great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.  She is preceded in death by both parents, daughter Janet Leiter; son in laws Robert Johnson, Ralph DeRose, and Robert Scott Wilson and grandchild, Neal Martin.    Cremation has taken place and her ashes will be interred with her husband at the Two Rivers Cemetery in Deerfield Township.  To sign the online guest book or leave a condolence for the family please visit www.CharlesRLux.com.
