Mindy Lou Lowery

Mindy Lou Lowery, 60, of Mt. Pleasant passed away unexpectedly Saturday, September 24, 2011 at Central Michigan Community Hospital. A Memorial Service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 22, at Chippewa Township Cemetery.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. Mindy was born April 25, 1951, in Mt. Pleasant, the daughter of Earl Mike and Martha Bunnie (Bell) Barnes. Mindy was a hair stylist for many years. She was formerly at Dorothys Hair Design and most recently at Envy Salon. Mindy really enjoyed her work. She loved her flowers and plants and spent many hours working with them. She was also an artist with a flair for decorating. One of the biggest loves of her life was her pets. She was very good with them and to them. Mindy was loved by many and touched so many lives. She will be greatly missed. Mindy is survived by her husband, Richard; son, Adam Stevenson, daughter, Ashley Stevenson, step-son, Ryan Lowery; step-daughter, Lacey Esch; eight grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; four siblings, Janice (Ray) Anspach, David (Barbara) Barnes, Marla Henderson, and Denny (Olivia) Barnes; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
