Monica G. Muth

Monica G. Muth, 85, of Toledo, OH and formerly of Mt. Pleasant died Friday, Feb. 6, 2009 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Toledo. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 11, 2009 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Fr. Denis Heames presiding and Monicas brother, Fr. John LaGoe concelebrating. Visitation will be held at the church one hour prior to the Mass. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery in Marion. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio. Envelopes will be available at the church or at the Charles R. Lux Family Funeral Home, 2300 S. Lincoln Rd. Monica was born Nov. 26, 1923 in Marion, Michigan, the daughter of Herbert and Marie (Flood) LaGoe. She later married Clarence Muth. She was a long-time resident of Mt. Pleasant until moving to Toledo in 2007 to be near her family. Monica was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and aunt. She was the most generous, giving, kind-hearted woman and an excellent conversationlist with a terrific sense of humor. She will be adored and greatly missed by her family and all who had the privilege to know her. Surviving are her daughter, Pamela (Kenneth) Kesmeyer of Sylvania, OH; grandchildren, Renee (Steve) Tomasello, Tracey (Jason) Preuss, Rob (Heather) Krainik; great-grandchildren, Gabrielle Tomasello, Tori Tomasello, Sophia Tomasello, Spencer Preuss, Griffin Preuss, Parker Preuss, and Clover Krainik; one sister, Rita Berry; two brothers, Paul (Barb) LaGoe and Fr. John LaGoe; and many very special nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by husband Clarence; sisters, Marianne Martin and Rose Chvojka; brothers, Herb LaGoe, Frank LaGoe and Jim (Gwen) LaGoe.
