Monna Jean Wheat

Monna Wheat, 66, of Mt. Pleasant passed away on Sunday, October 30, 2022, at home with her family by her side.  Monna was born on January 11, 1956, daughter of the late Kenneth and Cora (Peckham) Yeiter in Grand Rapids.  Monna married Morgan "Chip" Wheat on November 3, 1974, in Henderson, Nevada. While raising her children, she worked in several factories, then later in life worked for Listening Ear as a direct care worker.  Monna enjoyed playing cards and spending time with her grandchildren.   She will be greatly missed by so many.  She is survived by her children, Nicole Wheat of Mt. Pleasant, Bre-Ann Wheat of Riverdale, Sarah Wheat, Zebedeana "Billie" Wheat and Morgan "Hank" Wheat all of Mt. Pleasant; grandchildren, James Wheat, Logan Staff, Kenneth Parks, Natalie King, Grace-Ann Maybee, Charles Maybee, Izzie Wheat, William Wheat and Chance Wheat; siblings, Terry (Charlene) Yeiter of Saranac, James (Shirley) Yeiter of Clarksville, Craig (Chris) Yeiter of Ada, Lori (Mark) Dibble of Lowell, William Yeiter of Lowell, Bruce (Michelle) Yeiter and, David (Becky) Yeiter both of Wiliston, ND; brother in law, Jon (Kim) Wheat of Trenton, FL.  Monna is preceded in death by both parents; husband, Morgan "Chip" in 2006; and brother, Michael Yeiter.  Cremation has taken place and there will be a celebration of life on a later date.  To sign the online guest book or leave a condolence for the family please visit www.CharlesRLux.com.
