Myla Jean Fetterly, 51, of Mt. Pleasant died Tuesday, Nov. 26, 2002 at Central Michigan Community Hospital. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 2, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Robert Byrne officiating. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery near Rosebush. Friends may call at Lux Funeral Home on Sunday from 7-9 p.m. with a vigil service beginning at 7:30 p.m. Visitation continues at the church on Monday from 10:30-11:00 a.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Sacred Heart Church to help pay funeral expenses. Envelopes are available at Lux Funeral Home or Sacred Heart Church. Myla was born May 27, 1951, in Bluffton, Indiana, the daughter of Edgar and Esther (Rogers) Fetterly. She received her bachelor of Arts degree in Library Science in 1985. She had been previously employed by Meijer and Big Boy. Myla found joy in helping others and participating in church activities. Because of that she volunteered much of her time at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Sacred Heart Church and Mary McGuire School in the library. She was an avid reader of the Bible and studied World War II history. She also liked watching sports on TV.
