Myra Elden

Myra Elden, born Miroslowa Frackiewicz in Poland to Joseph and Adela Frackiewicz, died peacefully surrounded by her family. She is survived by Krysia Gronowski (Waldek) and nephews, Mark (Margaret) and Christopher (Alicia) and their children; Lucia Elden (Barry Alford) and sons, Richard and Frank Doherty; Eve Elden (Dan Forcier); Henry G. Elden and sons, Luke and Maximus; and Jacquelyn Smith (Patrick). Myra lived happily on her farm in Lupton, Michigan where she was a member of Holy Family Klacking Creek Parish and the Altar Society. More recently, she lived in Mt. Pleasant's Wooden Rocker and Tendercare, where she made many friends and loved her flowers and books. Because of her commitment to lifelong learning, donations will be made to the continued education of the nurses' aides at the Tendercare nursing home. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Vincent de Paul in Shepherd, Michigan on August 2, 2012 at 11 a.m.
