Neal Joseph Tilmann

Neal Tilmann, 63, of Weidman passed away Sunday, August 6, 2017, at home with his family by his side. Neal was born April 7, 1954, in Mt. Pleasant, son of the late Raymond and Irene (Fox) Tilmann. He was employed by Straus Masonry. Some of his favorite pastimes were playing euchre in his garage, golfing with his boys, billiards, and horse shoes. He enjoyed tending to his beautiful yard and loved having friends over to watch races or just sports in general. Neal is survived by two sons, Mark Tilmann and Michael Tilmann, both of Muskegon; six siblings, Russ (Barbara) Tilmann, Dean (Cathy) Tilmann, Rose Tilmann, and Anne (Ron) McDonald, all of Weidman, Lola (Ed) Langlois of Shepherd, and Ami Tilmann of California; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Irene Tilmann; and brother, Dale Tilmann. Cremation has taken place and no services are scheduled at this time. The family is being served by Charles R. Lux Family Funeral Home.
