Nicholas "Nick" Jon Butcher

Nicholas "Nick" Jon Butcher, age 39, of Mt. Pleasant, passed away on Monday, September 26, 2022, at home. Nick was born on October 25, 1982, in Bountiful, Utah, son of Michael and Kathy (Anspach) Butcher. He attended school in Lawrenceville, Georgia and loved swimming, hiking, playing video games, his cats and being with his family. Nick is survived by his mother; sister, Stephanie Butcher of Beverly Hills; aunts and uncles, Richard Anspach of Lansing, Steve (Sherry) Anspach of Alma, Virginia Butcher of Arizona, Joseph (Theresa) Butcher of Dewitt, and Christi (Greg) Braspenninx of White Cloud; and many other loving family members and friends. He was proceeded in death by his father; uncle Stephen Butcher; grandparents, Ray Anspach, Janice (Barnes) Anspach, Donald Butcher and Sue (Merkins) Butcher. A memorial service for Nick will be held at 11 am, Wednesday, October 5, 2022, at the Charles R. Lux Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant, with Reverend Mike Houle officiating. Family will receive friends one hour prior to service. A luncheon will immediately follow.  Interment will be at Riverside Cemetery in Mt. Pleasant.
