Norene G. Stinson

Norene Stinson, 88, of Farwell, passed away Monday, November 25, 2019, at Woodland Hospice House with her family at her side. She was born September 18, 1931, in Ann Arbor, Michigan, daughter of the late Earl and Dorothy (Matthews) Connelly. She married Robert Stinson on September 18, 1996, in Harrison, Michigan. Norene is survived by her husband, Robert Stinson of Farwell; two daughters, Colleen (Perry) Joseph of Flint and Shannon (Neil) Ankenbauer of Commerce; six grandchildren; two great grandchildren; brother, Warren Connelly of Zephyrhills, FL; and sister in-law, Ruth Ann Connelly of North Carolina. She was preceded in death by her son, John Tate in 1995; and five siblings, Patrick Connelly, Jane Chappell, Morgan Connelly, Ruth Isreal, and Eugene Connelly. A Funeral Mass for Norene will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday, November 29, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Don Henkes as celebrant. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the Mass. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery.
