Oliver "Barclay" Gordon

Oliver "Barclay" Gordon, age 85, of Weidman passed away in Adelaide, Australia on Friday, September 6, 2013.

Barclay was born to Peter and Jean (Moira) Gordon on July 21, 1928 in Aberdeen, Scotland of the U. K. He was raised in Tain, Scotland. Doris Shaw and Barclay were married on May 8, 1999 in Eaton Rapids, MI. He worked as a carpenter for over 30 years, retiring in 1960. His hobbies included soccer, reading, bingo and yard sales. Barclay was a member of the Weidman Eagles Aries # 4540.

Barclay is survived by his wife, Doris Gordon; step children, Brian and Michelle Carter, Brent and Kay Carter, Sheri and Michael Merritt and Mitchell Carter; grandchildren, Kaitlin, Maura, Casey, Kyle, Dustin and Deanna and Miranda; sisters, Nancy Allsweet of U.K, Joyce Gordon of U.K; and sister-in-law, Virginia and Ron Bower.

Barclay was preceded in death by his parents.
