Pamela Neely, 55, of Mt. Pleasant passed away Monday, July 17, 2017, at The Laurels of Mt. Pleasant. Cremation has taken place and interment of her ashes will be at 1 p.m. Sunday, July 23, at Chippewa Township Cemetery. A celebration of life will follow at 2 p.m. at Jameson Park. Memorial contributions may be made to Great Lakes Caring Hospice or the charity of the donors choice. Envelopes are available at Charles R. Lux Family Funeral Home. Pam was born April 16, 1962, in Mt. Pleasant, daughter of Howard N. and Judith I. (Norton) Neely. A 1980 graduate of Shepherd High School, Pam received her LPN degree in 2003 from Mid-Michigan Community College. She worked in the nursing field for several years before becoming ill. She was a devoted mother and friend to all she knew. Pam is survived by her son, Dylan (Sabrina) Granger of Mt. Pleasant; mother, Judy Neely of Mt. Pleasant; brother, Douglas Neely of Mt. Pleasant; sister, Susan (Tim) Steinouer of Mt. Lebanon, PA; devoted friend and companion, Barry Wilmot of Shepherd; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Howard Neely; and son, Joshua James Weaver.
