Pamela Schumacher, 49, of Lake Isabella, passed away Thursday, November 4, 2021, at McLaren Central Michigan from complications of COVID-19. Pamela was born February 7, 1972, in Alma, Michigan., daughter of Betty (Kremsreiter) Garrett and Larry Garrett. She graduated from Beal City High School in 1990 and raised her two children in Beal City. To spend as much time as possible with Paxton and Rheid, Pam owned and operated Happy Camper Daycare for approximately 10 years. She followed that with her own cleaning business the last six years. Pam loved horses and reading. Her greatest joy was her children, who were the center of her life. Pam is survived by her two children, Paxton Michael (Elaina Benson) Garrett and Rheid Sloan Schumacher, both of Beal City; parents, Betty Garrett of Beal City and Larry (Beverlee) Garrett of Ossineke; siblings, Jeff (Sue) Garrett of Lake Isabella, Steve (Ashlie) Garrett of Beal City, and Kelly (Josh) Williamson of Mt. Pleasant; and nieces and nephews, Tim Rowe, Kim (Mike) Kitsmiller, Samantha Garrett, Grant Garrett, Justin Garrett, Logan Garrett, Morgan Garrett, Kennedy (Ethan Mogg) Garrett, Karmann Williamson; and grandnephew, Maddox Mogg. She was preceded in death by both her maternal and paternal grandparents. A Funeral Mass for Pam will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday, November 8, at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church with Father Thomas J. McNamara as celebrant. Following the burial in Two Rivers Cemetery, a luncheon will conclude at the Beal City Knights of Columbus Hall. The family will receive friends at Charles R. Lux Family Funeral Home on Sunday from 3:00-7:30 p.m. with the Vigil beginning at 7:30 p.m. Visitation continues at the church on Monday one hour prior to Mass. Memorial contributions may be made to the Wishes of Family. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home and church.
