Pamela Vogel, 54, of Rosebush, passed away Wednesday, January 27, 2016, at MidMichigan Medical Center in Midland. A Funeral Mass for Pam will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday, January 30, at Our Lady Of Hope Parish in Clare with Father Prentice Tipton presiding. A luncheon will take place following Mass. Interment will be in St. Henry Cemetery in Rosebush. The family will receive friends at Charles R. Lux Family Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant on Friday from 4-8 p.m. with the Vigil beginning at 7 p.m. Visitation continues at the church on Saturday one hour prior to Mass. Memorial contributions may be made to the family. Envelopes will be available at the church and funeral home. Pam was born Oct. 14, 1961, in Star City, AR, daughter of James and Mary (Wilson) Gillespie. She married David Vogel on Nov. 7, 1980, at St. Henrys in Rosebush. She worked as a CNA at the Isabella County Medical Care Facility for 26 years before working most recently at Fountain of Love Assisted Living in Rosebush. Pam is survived by her husband of 35 years, Dave; two children, Andrea Vogel of Rosebush and Peter Vogel of Williston, ND; mother, Mary Gillespie of Star City, AR; sister, Susan Gayle (James) Hawkins; brother, Steve (Vicky) Gillespie of Star City, AR; mother-in-law, Janice Vogel of Rosebush; in-laws, Joan (Bernie Bramer) Vogel of Beaverton, Donna (Thomas) Fox of Beal City, Judith (Dennis) Haag of Lenox Township, Deborah (Charles) Novak of Longmont, CO, Gerard (Linda) Vogel of Mt. Pleasant, Francis (Sandra) Vogel of Winn, Phillip (Amy) Vogel of Rosebush, Barbara (Robert) Vandaveer of Clare, Bernard (Anna) Vogel of Mt. Pleasant, Marilyn (Gregory) Gray of Clare, Matthew (Kimberly) Vogel of Mt. Pleasant, Marie (Don) Johnson of Daphne, AL, Denise Vogel of Rosebush, and Jane West of Washburn, ME; numerous nieces and nephews; and her beloved dog, Footie. She was preceded in death by her father, James Gillespie; father-in-law, Jerry Vogel; and her beloved dog, Rocky.
