Patricia Tupper, 68, of Mt. Pleasant, passed away Tuesday, July 20, 2021, at home.  Patricia was born on August 1, 1952, in Cass City, Michigan, daughter of the late John and Gertrude (Varney) Lootens. Patricia graduated from Coleman High School in 1971.  During high school she met the love of her life, Robert Tupper, in Mt. Pleasant. They were married after graduation on July 9, 1971, at the Baptist Church. This year would have marked their 50 ^th wedding anniversary.  Patricia liked to collect coins, was an avid painter, but most of all, loved spending time with her grandchildren.  She enjoyed gardening, her flowers, reading, and her cats.  Patricia will be remembered for her loving heart and her compassion for others. Patricia is survived by her children; Aimee (Steven) Bles of Mt. Pleasant, Arron (Samantha) Tupper of Alma, Kari (Ryan) Bigard of Shepherd; grandchildren, Courtney (George) Cheatham, Tyler Tupper, Emily Bles, Jordan Bigard, Haley Tupper, Korbin Tupper, Addilynn Tupper; great granddaughter, Eris Cheatham; four sisters; and many nieces and nephews.  She is preceded in death by both parents; husband, Robert Tupper in 2014; four siblings; infant great granddaughter, Raelynn Cheatham. Patricia's funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, July 23, at Charles R. Lux Family Funeral Home. A luncheon will follow immediately in the Lincoln Reception Center. Interment will be in Woodland Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Charles R. Lux Family Funeral Home on Thursday from 4-7 p.m. and on Friday one hour prior to the service.
