Patricia Marie Tossey

Patricia Tossey, of Mt. Pleasant, passed away Thursday, June 1, 2023, in her home. She was 66. Patti was born April 14, 1957, in Cadillac, Michigan, daughter of Leonard and Geraldine (Bregg) Horner. She graduated from Cadillac High School in 1975 and moved to Mt. Pleasant shortly after. Patti spent her life working in customer service at Giantway, the Old Mission Party Store, and Kroger. She loved seeing her friends and neighbors, knowing many since childhood. Patti also enjoyed crocheting and was often making a new afghan for someone. Patti is survived by her mother, Geraldine Horner of Cadillac; children, Tracey (Greg) Wingard of Cadillac and Nicholas (Stephanie) Downing of Midland; granddaughters, Hailey, Olivia, Hadley, and another due in September; brother, Leonard Horner of Detroit and Robert (Patty) Horner of Arizona; and nephew, Ben Horner of Detroit. She was preceded in death by her father, Leonard Horner in 2022, and by many aunts, uncles, and cousins. A private memorial service will be held on a later date.
